Redeeming & Sending

Are there any fees associated with Cards redeemed on this site?

Most gift cards are not subject to any expiration dates or any issuance, activation, or dormancy fees. You will only be charged the face value of these gift cards, if applicable. Please refer to the specific Terms and Conditions found on the brand gift card product page for details.

Are there any restrictions for purchasing or redeeming cards on this site?

You cannot purchase cards on this website. You can only redeem your gift card for egift cards from the brands available per your card theme, up to the value of your original card.

Can I change the value of a gift card after I've paid for it?

No, once your order is complete, it cannot be changed.

Can I convert an eGift Card into a physical, plastic gift card?

No, we cannot transfer your funds onto a physical gift card.

How do I cancel an online redemption of a gift card?

You may not return or cancel your gift card after it is redeemed.

What payment methods do you accept for gift card redemption online?

You cannot purchase cards on the website, and you can only redeem your gift card for egift cards from the brands available per your card theme, up to the value of your original card.

Can I redeem a gift card for myself?

Of course! To do so, enter your own information in the Recipient fields.

Where can I find my card number?

For physical card holders, your card number is located on the back of the gift card. For eGift card cardholders, please call customer support 1-844-966-6422. You will need your serial number that is located at the bottom left of your eGift card email. When calling, please tell the Customer Care agent that you are using a serial number instead of a card number.

How do I activate my Gift Card?

If your gift card was redeemed at chooseyourcard.com in most cases, the card is ready for use immediately.

Can I edit or change the recipient email address?

Yes, if the recipient did not receive the email due to an incorrect email address, you have the option to update the email address by clicking the “Change/Resend Email” link in your email titled “Your Order is On Its Way”. You can then edit the recipient email address and resend. Please note, the email address on file with the order may not be the email address that is most current. Be prepared with the original recipient email address before calling customer service.

One or more merchants listed on my card is missing on ChooseYourCard.com . Can I still exchange my Card for Gift Cards?

Yes, you can redeem your card for one or more Gift Cards from the participating merchants that are available on ChooseYourCard.com

Why do the merchants listed on my card differ from the available Gift Cards on ChooseYourCard.com ?

We are always working to provide our customers with the best assortment of Gift Cards to choose from. You may find that we have added or removed a merchant from the list of brands shown on your card.

Bed Bath & Beyond is missing from ChooseYourCard.com . Why is it listed as an available merchant on my Card?

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Bed Bath & Beyond is no longer issuing new Gift Cards. We are working to remove any unavailable merchants from our Cards.

Receiving & Redeeming

I lost my order confirmation email. How can I get it reissued to me?

Please contact ChooseYourCard customer service at 1-844-966-6422 to obtain another order confirmation email.

How do I know the recipient received the gift card I sent them?

You can click “Track Order” and use your Email Address and Order Number found on your emailed redemption receipt to see if your order has been delivered.

How do I resend an egift card if the recipient didn’t receive the email?

If the recipient did not receive the egift card email, you can resend the email here Track Order and enter your email address used to order. Once you’ve located the redemption, you can resend the email.

Where can I use my ChooseYourCard gift card?

Your ChooseYourCard gift card can only be used on chooseyourcard.com.

Where can I use my egift card?

Most egift cards can be used at the merchant’s retail locations and online at the brand’s website. However, since every brand is different, please refer to their specific terms and conditions found on each brand’s product page prior to redeeming their card.

How do I use my egift card to shop in-store?

Using your eGift Card is Simple:

Redeem in Store

  1. Print the page with your eGift card details.
  2. Bring it into any participating partner at the time of payment.
  3. If needed, see the terms and conditions page of the card for additional information.
How do I use my eGift Cards to shop online?

Make sure the balance of the eGift Card you’ve redeemed your ChooseYourCard gift card for is more than the entire cost of the purchase, including taxes. Reference your eGift Cards cardholder agreement to ensure that it can be used to shop online. Then, go to the applicable partners website and redeem the eGift card for applicable goods or services. Please note: some transaction types require a hold of up to 20% above the redemption amount.

For all other gift cards, follow the instructions at checkout.

Can I get cash with my Gift Card?

Gift Cards cannot be used at ATMs nor can you get cash back from any of your redemptions.

How do I check the balance on my ChooseYourCard Gift Card?
  1. To check the balance for your ChooseYourCard, log in with your card credentials, and your balance will appear on the top right hand corner of your screen.
  2. To check the balance of all other egift cards, please follow the instructions on the card or within the card Terms and Conditions.
When do the gift cards expire?

Your ChooseYourCard gift card expiration date is nine (9) years from the date of redemption. The expiration date is listed on your card for your reference. Funds do not expire. Most brand gift cards do not expire. Please refer to the specific Terms and Conditions found on the brand gift card product page for details.
